Our clients are working onsite at the Burdekin Shire Council wastewater treatment plant in Brandon.
FTEC Electrical were engaged with a scope to manage the Design, Manufacture, Install and Commission of various switchboards for a ‘greenfield’ site installation.
These Pond Boards form part of this installation and incorporate control equipment, variable speed drives, instrumentation and fibre optic communications.
FTEC Electrical has chosen Allen Bradley PLCs (Micro850) and PowerFlex 525 drives as part of this project. The client has supplied instrumentation and control valves which are operated and interfaced to these switchboards.
This equipment works seamlessly together with the Factory Talk View SCADA solution implemented on the site. Each switchboards PLC is integrated into the SCADA network which has been designed and commissioned by FTEC Electrical to bring together plant wide operation and control.
Six of these Pond Switchboards were completed as part of this project.
